God's good plan- Endure and Return For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 Jeremiah 29:11 is a popular and often searched verse in Google. Many a times we contemplate this verse out of its context. We use it as a quick fix for all our problems. We claim this verse and desire the immediate rescue from all our sufferings.  But when we understand this verse in its context, it has much deeper and spiritual applications in our life.  One of the crosswalk article I recently read addresses our misunderstanding of this verse. It states that - the heart of the verse is “not that we would escape our lot, but that we would learn to thrive” in the midst of it. The prophet Jeremiah confronts the false prophet, Hananiah, who had boldly proclaimed that God was going to free God's

Rest in God's mercy

Rest in God's mercy  To rest means to relax into something and let it support you. You rest yourself on the couch or bed after a whole day of hustle and bustle. It's a moment of stillness and calm, releasing all your stress and recovering the strength for tommorow. His desire is for the Lord. In his most prosperous time he didn't forget his Lord and His work. From a human perspective it is such a good plan to build a house for God, to think of Lord sincerely in his heart and so Natha
